Few questions about NBA Live 08 PC

Hi, I just got me a copy of NBA Live 08 and enjoyed it but I did notice its age particularly with the roster and such.

I have a few questions regarding NBA Live 08:

Does it have a MyPlayer-like mode wherein I create a player? I really want to use the shoes and such that's why I was wondering if such a mode exists.

Is there a "cheat" to unlock all the shoes? I really love the shoes.

And lastly, what are the things I could do to "modernize" NBA Live '08?

1. Nope.
2. Not that I can recall, but it can be done by editing the databases directly. Most roster updates already do this.
3. Check the NBA Live 14 and NBA Action 14 mod release threads here for the latest complete updates.
