registry entry for windows 7?

I am playing live 08 with windows XP all the time with no problem... Then a problem hal.dll error corrupted my xp... I formatted it then install windows 7... Is there a registry entry for windows 7 so that I can play my live 08 without reinstalling it?.. It's a hassle if I do a reinstall for my mods will be gone also.

btw, I have a registry entry for live 08 for XP so that everytime I do a format I'll just activate the .reg and I can play again Live 08 without reinstalling. Hope there's for windows 7 here.

If you've still got access to the installation of NBA Live 08 with all the patches installed, you could simply copy those folders over after reinstalling.

You could install NBA Live 08, get the information from the registry so you've got the .reg file for next time, then copy the patched game over the fresh installation.

yeah I have the .reg but its not working though. Maybe win 7 is different in terms of registry entry.

install Live 08 to a different directory, copy your modified game folder over the new installation.

I meant create a new .reg file with the appropriate registry data, after installing NBA Live 08.

Have you tried just running the game?
