Dynasty Draft Picks

Hey whats up guys i wanted to know if there is a way to edit or change the draft picks in dynasty or season mode.
you know remove all of the generic players and substitute them with real college players such as Seth Curry,Mason Plumlee etc???
Just wondering...Or would it be possible to have those players on the free agents at the end of the season by loading the rosters using the nba live 08 editor??Just a thought

Using DBF editor, you can do that (change their name, CF ID, speech ID,etc)

and are you sure the rookie draft file is a .bin and how would i open that in dbf editor?

Ok look into your nba live main directory
you should see a tuning folder inside of there are dynasty stuff such as season calender and rookie draft and simengine??
they are all .bin files i was wondering how you edit or if you can?

I thought you said in dynasty mode. In dynasty mode you can just create a game then replace the rookies with the ones you want by db comander. This .bin file I have no idea how to edit it. Sorry, can't help.

so in dynasty mode if i draft the rookies from the upcoming season and do what save a roster file to edit then i can edit them in db commander
i want to edit them so that they are there and not the generic rookies at the end of my season during the offseason

I really don't think that's possible (Everyone want that but up to now there's no update to do that). Beside you can just edit the rookies in the rookies vault for next season draft (right?)

It's possible to edit the generated players for an upcoming Draft after you've started a Dynasty game, but not before. Once they're generated and in the database under the Rookie Pool, they can be edited.

i remember other filipino patchers changed the names of the rookies for upb mod.. even before you start draft. the change surnames to pilipino surnames . I also remember that one surname of the rookie was parks. maybe they patterned that to the name of 1 collegiate player from the phils ray ray parks..

How did they do it before the draft?

i dont know. i just dowloaded the mod and play dynasty and realize at the draft that the draftees have pilipino surnames

There's a database of names that can be edited but as far as making specific changes - exact names, attributes and so on - that has to wait until a Dynasty game has started and the rookies have been generated.

Hey im also having a problem with my coach well just one of them
the trailblazers coach doesnt show on the introduction or on the sideline when im playing games hes the only one tho
how do i fix it when thats happening?

I would assume there's a problem with one of his values in coaches.dbf.
