problem with appearance

I am editing a roster but there is a problem . I use the correct playerid and the correct appearid but the colour is different . I mean i use 1 to have a white skin but i get a black instead and the opposite....why that happens? Any help ? Thanks

That means there's a discrepancy between players.dbf and appearance.dbf, ie the rows don't match up. The rows in each database need to match exactly; the ID number actually doesn't seem to matter, it's just useful for being able to find players in appearance.dbf since there are no names.

So, for example, if there are 1500 rows in players.dbf and only 1490 rows in appearance.dbf, ten players are missing their appearance data. As a result, the rows don't match up, so any players in the database after the point where the first missing rows should be will have the wrong data. The only way to fix that would be to find out where the error has occurred, insert a row there with the appropriate data and bring everything into line. This is obviously easier to do if there are only a few missing rows, though it's still tedious.

To be honest, when you find yourself in that position it's much easier to restore from a backup where everything is working properly and start editing again...assuming you have a working backup to restore from.
