Missing Cf's do you rename file for a fix?

Tue Jun 19, 2012 6:12 pm

Ive read somewhere that you should rename the cf file for the player in the game with no face...
If so will he have a face after renaming i have the fsh for some players but they're missing heads when i start a game
is there a fix if i have the CF files in the sgsm folder already ? :( And if i wanted to add a face to an existing player without one how could i do so. Thanks

The name of the .fsh and .ebo file must match the PLAYERPKG value in players.dbf. The only time you would change that value or the name of the files is if they do not match.

Thanks
So how would i check?
I seen one or two that didn't match the folder name but i think the player showed up still
do you have an quick and easy tutorial on CF?

Compare the PLAYERPKG value for the appropriate player in players.dbf (open it up in DB Commander or the new NBA Live 08 Editor) with the .fsh and .ebo file that's in the sgsm folder.

For example: LeBron James' PLAYERPKG is LEJAMES. Thus, any art files related to him must match that seven letter value, ie lejames.fsh for the face file, lejamesB.ebo for the headshape, lejames_arm_tat.fsh for custom arm textures and lejames_leg_tat.fsh for custom leg textures.

As far as creating custom faces, there are a couple of tutorials available in the Wiki and in the Tutorials subsections in the Forum.
