I am making a 2000-2001 roster, and was wondering if it is best to make a start of season roster or end of season roster?

I think end of season roster would be best.Or possibly mid-season.

When I've made retro rosters in the past I've preferred to make opening night rosters, but I tend to think that's patcher's choice. Either way is fine.

Okay, i have copied the opening day rosters from live 2000, and am going to model mine after that.

You mean 2001 rosters? I have NBA Live 2001, if you want any help on dbf files I can help you.

I have base roster just copied from live 2000 default roster, but thanks anyway.

The best thing for the roster is after the trade deadline..
