Why NBA Live 08 Bad ?

I am gamer from NBA Live 2001 I have all versions from to 2001 . And I saw some bugs and glitches in 06 and 07 . Later 08 released . I saw some bugs and glitches fixed . 08 haven't too much new features but have some good ones . But I read many many reviews and speak with many gamers they said NBA Live 08 is bad . 06 and 2005 , 2003 better than . Why ? I don't think so . I like 08 in PC . It's not required high specs . Please tell your opinion . Later I want to know NBA Live 08 have which bugs and glitches ? I don't see anything now . I want to know all of this . Thanks for the all helps

the biggest problem is that you can inbound the ball off a made basket, turbo your way to the other baseline, and get back behind the defense and score with no defensive threat at all....that was my biggest gripe with the game and I dont know of anyone actually fixed it.

one thing I like in 08 was there's a sigshot and go to moves by allstar players and they improved the dynasty.. graphics is fine for me but the gameplay got worse since 05 (the best gameplay).. if they just release the tool for editing the speechfiles for 08, maybe it was played more until now..

The PC version of NBA Live 08 is totally disastrous. EA completely messed up with this game. Gameplay is good but not quite (glitches/bugs). And my favorite Dynasty Mode is fucked up. You can't even managed the playing time of your roster so you will just depend on the CPU simulation. And speaking of simulation, this is the most horrible part wherein the simengine is generating unreal stats.

On the other hand, there are still people in here who are continuously improving this game by making great patches so it's a better relief for now.

Some were already fixed in a certain extent.

This year game haven't animaton bugs ? (like nested players or ball ??)

And if they are fixed , why not released one patch for fix all bugs ?

Because NBA Live 08 PC was an afterthought, ported from the PS2 version and outsourced to another developer. No official fix was ever released and at this point, they're obviously not going to make one. The game does have its fair share of bugs, which are listed and discussed in the thread Psychedelic™ posted.

do you have TUP11 patch? well, try that MOD.. it is updated till this nba season.. new courts, jerseys, arts, faces, and many more

Well, believe it. NBA Live 08 is a broken game, plain and simple.

What about it? NBA Live 06 wasn't perfect, nobody said it was. Overall, it was still a fair more solid product than NBA Live 08, despite what one video and a bunch of snarky teenagers posting on YouTube would have you believe.

It's a video that's intended to highlight flaws in 06, so it presents one point of view (and in a fairly snarky manner, which contrary to what a lot of people think does not make an argument sound smarter). Again, it's not that 06 doesn't have any flaws, but 08 has way more to the point that a lot of us find it unplayable compared to some of the games that came before it. Note that the video was also made and posted before NBA Live 08 came out.

Umm . This makes something clearer .

To put it simply, even considering the points made by that video, I would still say 06 is the better game compared to 08.

If you haven't any original NBA game and If you bought 08 later if somebodies say 06 better . What do you think ? Do you buy an original 06 ? I am in this situation . This makes me stupid

If you're happy with 08, then stick with 08. However, I personally much prefer 06 and consider it a better game so yes, I'd recommend picking it up if you can find a copy cheap somewhere.

buy 2k11 jesus christ if you buy 08 play 08, not much we can do about it. maybe you like more 08 then 06, it's personal choice.

True enough, if you've got the specs to run 2K11 then it's well worth a look.

I think my pc not enough for 2k2011 , one thing you said highlight flaws in 06 . This glitches only happens in some cameras and highlights ? or everything in original game . I am thinking a 06
