Defensive Free Throw Rebounding

Thu Feb 24, 2011 2:46 am

Just played a game Atlanta vs Charlotte. I'm Atlanta. Just about everytime Charlotte missed a free throw, they got the rebound and either scored or was fouled on the put-back. I wound up losing by 8 points
I've got the CPU Offensive Rebound setting down to zero, but it don't matter.

Is there a secret to boxing the offensive rebounder out?

Thanks

That's a known bug in NBA Live 08, which there is unfortunately no fix.

that's what you call "backs-out" its normal for me.. not really a bug.. if you want to get the rebound then you should go on the spot on where the ball will land.. then press jump (Y) but its depend on the player you are controlling

No, that really is a bug in NBA Live 08. After the last free throw is in the air, the CPU players are able to move into the lane and contest for the rebound (as you're allowed to do) but the player the user is controlling is unresponsive until the ball hits the rim, while CPU opponents and teammates are moving about as normal.
