NBA Live 08 NLSC 3.8 update crashes

Game crashes at a beginning of a game after loading.
Crashes both on dynasty and exhibition.
Any ideas?

I've tested the patch and I'm not experiencing any crashes with the version that has been released. I can't guarantee compatibility with all other patches, so you might need to try a fresh install.

If it's happening on a couple of teams in particular, I can double check but everything should be working fine.

Obviously, I re-installed the game and installed the new patch. It crashed once since the installation in a game of Chicago at Detroit.
I'm doing a season with chicago and already played both home and away games.

Looks like there's an issue with the Pistons' court update; that's a shame, it wasn't crashing during my previous tests. Please delete the following files from your sgsm folder:

detrstd_highref.ebo
detrstd_lowref.ebo
detrstd_trans.ebo

In a game Chicago at Utah the game crashed too, deleted the files of Utah, just like you told me regarding Detroit and the problem was fixed.

There must be a few high too many hi-res files there, though it's strange they weren't causing crashes before now and for other teams. I'll double check those courts and release new fixes as necessary.

EDIT: Jazz court works fine for me but a few others don't, so I'll put out another fix and repacked version ASAP.

Same thing that happened with Utah happened with Orlando, I've deleted the files and everything went well. During the game Orlando commited a substitution and the game crashed, don't know which player entered the game.

Andrew, I have to say that i'm happy with the crashes of the game because that's pretty much the only time that I can go back to study, the patch is pretty much a whole new game that keeps me out of my studies.

I went through all the teams with updated courts yesterday and I believe I've now weeded out all the troublesome files in a repacked version of the rosters. I've also released this fix to clean out those files for those who've already installed them, so you might want to give that a try as a preemptive strike on further crashes.
