error patches aren't working

i need some help with installing patches i put them in the map sgsm and i've putted the map sgsm in saves but it doesn't works

You put SGSM map in saves folder?

I think you may have misunderstood those instructions. Art files are placed in the sgsm folder directly, unless otherwise directed. Rosters go in the saves folder.

You don't put the sgsm folder anywhere. You locate it, and put files in it. By default, it's C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm. If you installed NBA Live 08 to a different folder, then sgsm will be under that folder instead. If in doubt, use Windows' search function.

Jerseys - if they are a .viv file - go in the uniforms folder which is found within the sgsm folder. Courts, if they are likewise .viv files, are placed in the stadia folder within the sgsm folder. All other art files go directly in the sgsm folder unless otherwise directed.

but my sgsm folder is empty i've created the maps stadia and jerseys alone and i don't no what to do with the sgsm folder now where and how should i locate it?

There's no need to say "reply please" in every post.

If your sgsm folder is empty then it's the wrong folder. You need to find the existing sgsm folder, not create a new one. I'm sorry, but I really don't know how to explain it any more simply than it has been already.

i think i've found the problem but i don't k'now how to fix it
the problem is: a few months ago i've downloaded a espn art patch (created by: DEAZEAL) and now i don't k'now how to remove it i've tried everything like uninstalling the game deleting the files of the patch and i've deleted the patch. but still its there how do i fix this?

If it's still there after you've reinstalled then it can't have been completely removed.

You need to make sure that you've removed every single file related to that patch. If it's still showing up, there are still some files left to be removed.

If they're not working, it means they're not installed properly. Note that some .zip and .rar files retain folder information, so it's easy to end up extracting patches to sgsm\sgsm\ instead of placing them directly in the sgsm folder (or wherever they need to be).

As explained before, faces and portraits go directly in the sgsm folder.

Doesn't matter. So long as they end up in the right place, it doesn't matter if you extract them somewhere else and then move them.

and i've forgotten to tell it but a view days ago i installed a patch from jaosming and i've first extract the files to my desktop copy them and paste them into the sgsm folder and that worked and i tried later to do that with other patches too but that doesn't worked

If they're not working then they're not placed in the correct place. Simple as that.
