art work: (copy all to sgsm unless other wise noted)
create logos (look for files starting with logos~________.big and then each team has 1 XXXX.fsh <-transition logo)
create jerseys - to "uniforms" folder and "unihalf" folder in the uniforms folder
create jersey portraits
create arena (optional) - .viv to "stadia" folder, else to sgsm
create coach (optional) - .viv to "coaches" folder, else to sgsm
database:
create entry of arena in locations.dbf (remember the locaitonid)
create entry of the team in teams.dbf (remember the teamid) use the locationid of ur custom arena (or the locationid of an exisiting arena)
create entry of coach in coaches.dbf (or copy an exisiting coach) change the teamid to the teamid of ur custom team (from teams.dbf)
create entries of jerseys in teamgear.dbf use the teamid to the teamid of ur custom team (from teams.dbf)*
create entries of players in players.dbf by copying the players u want on ur team

change the teamid to the teamid of ur custom team (from teams.dbf)

change the cash_team to the teamid of ur custom team (from teams.dbf)

change the rosterorder to make it make sence (ex. dont duplicate a number and use 0-14)

remember/write down the playerid, THEN change the playerid's to something not already used
create entries if players' appearances by duplicating appearances in the appearance.dbf, match the apperanceid with the playerid u remember/write down from before

change the apperanceid to the new playerids u create in the players.dbf
notes:
*for the jerseys u must have a jersey with the shpname "XXXXaway" that will be the default jersey during player edit
for art work, i suggest looking for ALL files related to an existing team and edit from there...search by abbrv
ex. looking for all Clipper's files will mean looking for files that have "lacl" or "lc" in the file name
