Do patches work on 08 using PS3

I haven't been on this board in quite some time so I am asking if you can use patches using PS3 and if so how do you do it. Are there any tutorials on how this is done on ps3. If I have posted in the wrong area, I apologize in advance.

there is no way to patch anything on the consoles, sorry
