Nothing the NLSC roster update does would remove the help text from the game. If in doubt, reinstall the game and try playing without any updates installed and see if the problem persists.

Dude, just uninstall your game. Delete every file of Nba Live (both on C: and My Documents). Then install the game, and don't use any kind of patch!!!

If the game works fine, than it's some patch bug that caused the problem. If the game does not work properly, hey, it's your pc!

who needs help in a free throw? just press the shoot button. anyway, i remember this happening with my nbalive07 because of the espn overlay and scoreboard patch. it could have been caused by a patch you've installed too.
