Andrew, I don't think he needs a permission,does he? After all his patch is called "real roster" and not "realistic roster".Am I missing anything?

Actually he does need permission and yes, you are missing the point. It doesn't matter what you call a patch, if you intend to take someone else's files and redistribute them in any way, modified or otherwise, it's common courtesy in our community to ask permission first. It's usually no problem but some patchers might not want their work modified and redistributed for whatever reason and we must all respect that. It's not the name, it's the contents.
