the game is kinda slow

i bought a new cpu with

intelr core 2 duo
e7400 @ 2.80ghz
nvidia geforce 8400 gs
2gb ram

the problem is my nba live is slow, i mean, the players' walking speed and actions are like slowmotions in 5 on 5 games. my game speed is 50 but its like 20-30. but when im doing a 1on1, its like the normal 50 game speed. i tried setting up the affinity to one cpu only but i did not solve the problem. plz help me.. tnx in advance.

i dont know sir andrew. live 08 is my only game in pc. T_T

I guess go through the usual general troubleshooting steps then. Try disabling any programs running in the background that you don't need.
