I want to make Jordan play against Kobe or Le Bron in my dynasty.. I saw Jordan's entry in players.dbf (although from workingdb folder). Is it possible for me to enable Jordan as a free agent and then sign him? Do I just copy the entry from that players.dbf to my dynasty's players.dbf? Won't it cause occasional "hanging" or corrupted game? Thanks

I'm not sure if editing dynasty's players.dbf file is a good idea, but you can copy it to your roster save folder. Make sure that his player ID that you will assign for him isn't used for any other player in the file. You need also to copy his entry from appearance.dbf file and it has to match the ID from players.dbf file.

Note that art files for him aren't included in the game and if you haven't downloaded any face patch for him, he won't have a face.

How does he look like then?

By default he doesn't have a face at all; he'll just have a black and white placeholder texture.

i've tried that already, copying both records from the appearance.dbf and players.dbf. I've tried 3 ways and all failed.
A) i've tried signing him up as free agent. I have salary cap space, i made him minimum, his cash_yr, min_target is 1000, and I tried signing him from 1000 to 2000, but his agent says that he doesn't like the makeup of my team (WTF?!)
B)I've tried automatically changing his team,origteam and cash_team to 4 (Cavs is my team in the dynasty) but when I try to use him in a game, my game crashes.
C)i've tried placing him in another team, but when I face that team, my game crashes.
What's the problem? Hope somebody could help me. Tnx

Maybe Jordan is 16th player for that team?

Nope. I made sure that there were less than 15 players on the team. Jordan is #2 coz I always replace the original #2 by making it a free agent
