guys..i just would like to ask if theres a way to like change the appearance of the rookies simulated by the computer at dynasty mode? it just doesn't look realistic anymore specially when all nba players are already retired all i have are simulated players with shiny heads is there a way to change those "shiny heads" into normal ones?

I don't think so. You can change portraits one at a time, but I don't think you can do that.

I don't know if there are any custom generic face packs for NBA Live 08 but you could always edit the PLAYERPKG values for the generated rookies to assign them a different face, including a real NBA player if that's what you wanted to do.
