Would it be possible to take out original music (soundtracks) from the game and put in new ones?

Does the tutorial for "Replacing The Music In NBA Live 06" apply to 08 as well? This is the only music replacement tutorial there is.

I got the music part to work but is having trouble with the Locale Editor, trying to replace the title, album and artist names.
