Alternate Controllers For NBA Live 08?

I just want to know some controllers to replace the keyboard. And is it possible to have 2 players in 1 PC playing NBA Live 08?

I know this is going to sound strange- but I reccomend avoiding the name brands such as Logitech. I never had good luck with Logitech pads.

The best one I've ever found, which I still use, is a generic brand from Wal-Mart. I don't even remember the name of the brand, but it is packaged with half of the controller visible through the thin cardboard/plastic shell packaging. It's black, looks almost like a 'fat' ps2 controller, and the cord is 'thin' and retractable. I looked on Wal-Mart's website, but there's no pictures that I can find.

Great variety of buttons, and comfortable to hold. The retractable cord (it goes all the way inside like a tape measure) is awesome.

I would recommend the xbox 360 wired controllers.

I've never had any problems with Logitech or any other name brands but if you can find a cheaper generic brand to do the job, so much the better I guess.

I have a MadCatz PS3 wireless controller.

I don't know if it's worth the money since I got it free, but I like it.

I bought a USB thing converter that was only 7$ on ebay. I plugin my PS2 controller and can play, two players Pretty awesome.
