Welcome to the Forum. :)

You can change that data in teams.dbf. More info on the values of teams.dbf can be found here.

True, though you can change the Quick Play assignments in teams.dbf.

Just going to bump this thread regarding default plays, just to avoid making a new threa :D

I am running Live 08 on PC, and my controller doesn't have enough buttons (only 6). So when I edit my buttons, there is no "playcalling" action to apply to any of my buttons. The instruction booklet says "D-Pad double tap", but since I don't have a D-Pad, how can I do any play calling?

Would I have to open up a DBF and play around with the default play calling controls there?

Any info would be cool, thanks!

the easiest solution IMO is to go into the controller config screen in the options menu of the game and when you are supposed to map the playcalling to the Dpad or w/e, just make them keyboard buttons like the arrow buttons.
Opinions are my own.

I tried your solution of making the playcalling into keyboard buttons. But then this means I have to place both the controller and the keyboard icons on my team, which means I will have two "users" playing for my team.

can't we have keyboard keys in the same config as the joystick? did you even try going to the config screen?

you would play with your joystick and when you want to run a play, just take a hand off and press an arrow key or something

Tried your suggestion, but by allowing the Keyboard to select the Plays, I will have a player on the court who just stands there (ie the keyboard user).

Even on the keyboard config screen, there is no "Playcalling" button to set.
