help with change

I changed team adidas to my team, and how am I going to change so it doesn't say Team Adidas at the start of a game, instead it says "Croatia '92".
What database (?) file should I modify?

If you're just talking about the text, that's in teams.dbf. If you're talking about the audio, you can't change it.

I changed audio to 43, so it's Euro All stars.
I am talking about that line of text when it's the intro in the game, and it says
Team 1
vs
Team 2

I changed the name of adidas team, but in that part it still says Team Adidas

That should change when you update the team name and city in teams.dbf.

That's what I did first, and the name changed, but I repeat, in the intro of a game, it says Team Adidas, but everywhere else, it says Croatia 92

I tried creating new team and am having huge problems. It just wont work. So i wad thinking on doing what he did... changing the information of an existing team, but i guess that also has its problems

I think i might be doing something wrong with the loading roster part of it, but i doubt it.

Edit: Confirmed: tried editing teams.dbf to just change tha adidas team name from Adidas to Island Mauby. Went into live, loaded roster file, go to play now and team adidas is STILL named team adidas... wtf?

As I can see, the word "team" is not located in the dbf. It is possible that the exe treat the team ID as a special team, and will display "team adidas" no matter what.

No... the phrase "adidas" in the exe are only for the shoes and dornas. I really don't know. :roll:

But now I'm pretty sure it's something out of dbf's concern.

If it's still showing up then I'd say it's an issue with the TEAMCODE. Try changing it to either 6 or 14.

Didn't work, I think I will create a new team, not change an old one

That's strange, I would have thought it would be the TEAMCODE. As you say, creating a new team instead would probably be your best bet.

Yep, I did that, and I copied most of the files from the 90s team, I just used a different name and stuff, but when I try to play, it says the team is locked
