Recommended Patches?

Just wondering what the more popular patches are? I'm running a dynasty right now and I want to make sure my in-game looks top notch, can someone point me in the right direction?

Right now I'm using realistic rosters which isn't too bad, however when I added it, there was a few errors. A lot of the player's shoes randomly mess up during game. They'll change to orange and then change back after awhile, it's weird. I also have player rotation / reset roster or whatever it's called, seems like a cool feature, but I don't think it works properly...

As for dynasty, I like the 07 patch that changes the Roster Order, so you can change your lineup. But if have no need to change your lineup, that isnt a need for you

Does that patch work with NBA Live 2008?

Well it is an NBA Live 08 patch, just based of 07, so in other words yes, but it's classified in the 08 section if you're looking for it.

Are you talking about the one PDub made? I have that one right now, but the first time I used it I got a bug. I set someone to start at like 90% of the time, he didn't start. So I set it to 100%, he didn't start. I made a post about it, but I never got an answer whether or not that bug was reoccurring or not.

It's not a bug with the fix; the rotations function simply doesn't work in NBA Live 08. However, the Reorder Roster fix does allow you to modify your lineup - including the starting five - by changing the Inactive List screen to the regular Reorder Rosters screen.

Yeah, I know. I have that in my game, it just doesn't work when I used it. I was playing with the Kings and I tried to have it so Udrih was the 6th man or something and it kept putting him as the starting point guard.

Strange. I don't play NBA Live 08 PC anymore but when I tried Pdub's fix it worked as intended.

NBA Live has always done that. The cpu will override the lineup. They did it less in previous versions, and I believe 07 was the best at allowing you to keep the lineup the way you want it, but after an injury or recovery, you would need to set your lineup over again. The only time 08 allows you to natively reorder the roster is after an injury or recovery. I'm not sure if those edits get overrided or not.

Since there IS a reorder rosters in the game, couldn't you just take it's source and move it into the dynasty?

As other people have said, I've used it before, had some experiences with small glitches but nothing a little backing out and going back in didn't fix.

See, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what. It sounds like other people have had success with it. I'm 0/2 right now.

Maybe we're talking about a different patch here, or did you just change the starting lineup for 9 out of ten games?
