Too many assists?

Does anyone else have a problem with some players getting too many assists in dynasty mode? In my game I have a lot of power forwards (Kevin Garnett, Chris Bosh, and sometimes Dwight Howard and others) always averages ten assists or more. There's also a lot of other people like Kobe and others who average much higher assists then they should. I've tried lowering their passing, but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there a fix for this?

Yeah, I think so. I think I'm using something called Realistic Roster 08 v5, I got it off this website. It had a lot of different patches in it.

The stats look fairly good outside of the assists. Is there maybe a better patch? What's the one most people use that give life-like/up-to-date stats when games are simulated?

I don't want anything that changes the players ratings though.

I've seen similar instances, but with the likes of Steve Nash averaging 60.0ppg...

Well, I know if you're just playing the original, no patches added, there's a problem with the scoring. I remember at the end of my season there'd be several guys with 40+ ppg, that's why I downloaded this patch. Now the scoring is normal, but some people get too many assists.

In game played or simulated?

I'm Albys, the creator of Realistic Roster 5, and all of the patch of RR pack are the best in NLSC.
The problem in game simulated is a bug of original game, but in game played i think all is ok.

Unless you're using a sim engine fix then you'll find the stats are really messed up. Even if you are using a sim engine fix then you'll probably notice a few errors since as I'm not sure if anyone's been able to completely fix every statistical category. The most reliable fix is selecting another game in the series.

I'm talking about simulated games, Albys.
Like I said, other then the amount of assists, most of the stats are just fine. It's just there's a lot of people getting a high amount of assists when they shouldn't be.
