I need some opinions

Hi I'm new here.
I've been reading the forums for a while, I just never registered.
Great Forum!

Anyway, I'm about 50 games into my first season in Dynasty Mode.
I did a fantasy draft with the Suns.

My current roster is:

C: Amare Stoudamire (94)
PF: Dwight Howard (83)
SF: Andre Igoudala (86)
SG: Nick Young (76), this kid is a beast in the game.
PG: Damon Stoudamire (74)

Bench:
SF: Gerald Green (74)
PF/C: Hakim Warrick (72)
PF/C: David West (72)
PG: Jason Hart (68)
SG: Gordan Giricek (68)
PF/C: Sean Marks (62)

The only changes I've made from the start of the season were to sign Luke Jackson as a free agent and trade Jackson and Fransco Garcia for Giricek.

Igoudala, Giricek and Marks all have contracts expiring at the end of the year. I have no idea what I should do, should I resign amy of them or trade for some others.

Also from your experiences, which of my players develop well.

If they're playing well for you and you're happy with that lineup, you should re-sign them (definitely Iguodala). You can always choose to trade them afterwards if you decide you'd rather go in a different direction. You should continue to see development from Howard, Iguodala and Young and generally further development with Amare as well. Green, Warrick and West are also decent choices to have if you want to keep a team together for a while and see some development in the young guys.

I think a dynasty should have a balance of younger players and veterans. I also think you get at least one defensive player at each position.

Hi, just an update.

I'm now in the 2nd season:
I resigned all three players.

I did the draft, but I got pick 30 so I traded them both for better players (the rookies were rated 63 and 60).

My roster now looks like this:

C: Amare Stoudemire (94)
PF: Dwight Howard (85)
SF: Andre Iguodala (88)
SG: Nick Young (76)
PG: Luke Ridnour (73)

Bench:
SF: Gerald Green (74)
PG: Damon Stoudamire (73)
PF: David West (73)
C: Antonio McDyess (70)
SG: Gordan Giricek (69)
PF/C: Sean Marks (62)

I did many trades to end up with this lineup, I traded Warrick (72) and Mohammad Bing (Rookie 60) for Cliff Williamson (67?), Michael Ruffin (65?) and someone else (about 65).

Then I traded Hart (68), Williamson and the player I can't remember for Tim Thomas (70).

Then I traded Thomas (70) and Bryan Sato (Rookie 63) for Luke Ridnour (73).

Then I signed McDyess as a free agent for 1 year.

I got most of the awards:
DPOY: D. Stoudamire (6 SPG)
D 1st team: Amare, Dwight, Andre and Damon
D 2nd team: Hart
All NBA 2nd team: Amare, Damon
Rookie 2nd team: Young

I also have a question, During the 1st season I trained Young up to 78 overall but in the off-season, a page saying that Young, Igoudala and Green recieved "Defensive Superstar" ratings which increased Iguodala and Green's ratings but it decreased Young's, dose anyone know why this happened? Thanks.

I don't know why but all of the real rookies decline in live 08. Recently i trained cory brewer while doing i guess it was a minnesota dynasty which ever team he plays for and i trained him up to 73 and after a year in the offseason he was 72. A lot of rookies increase and decrease in their overalls no matter how hard you train them. I think though it just happens to the real rookies and not computer generated ones, though i'm not sure.

Thanks, at least I know I'm not the only one, I play it on PS2, so I guess there probably isn't a way to fix it.
