downloading roster updates

can you download roster updates onto a blank cd and then copy the updates/file onto a nba live 08 for the playstation 2? if so how?

No, I'm sure that won't work. You need a, oh shoot, I forgot the name. It's something that transfers data to consoles. Use Google.

hey, we're not even sure if the roster updates for PC are compatible with the PS2 version..

They're not. PC updates cannot be used with any of the console versions.
