My question's in the title, I want to know is it and how it is possible to make players that already have cyberfaces editable on the Edit Player screen. Information's not a problem, as I can change it in the .dbf, but it would also help if I could do it in-game.
Thanks

Well..everything of a created player with cyberfaces can be edit except the face itself..what do you want to edit when you mean edit?

It's not possible. You can't edit a player's face unless he's using a Create-a-Player appearance. Otherwise, you need to edit the .fsh file itself.

Well then, is it possible to make him use a CAP appearance, let's say from a created player, through dbf editing or something?

a player which uses an .fsh file as a face cannot be converted into a created player. it's not possible. its face, i mean.
EDIT: Added last sentence.

Actually, it should be possible to re-assign a created appearance instead of a .fsh file. You'd need to change the ISCREATED attribute in players.dbf to True and his FACEID in appearance.dbf to the next ID number in sequence.
Note however you'd need to create the player's face from scratch, it wouldn't take on any aspects of their actual cyberface from the .fsh file.

Yep, sounds good, Andrew. I know there was a roster patch for 06 or 07 and most of the players had CAP faces. I'll try it out later, thanks a lot

I tried to do as you said, and it worked to an extent. I tried it on Ben Wallace, and when I entered the Edit Player screen with him there was his CF on a white body, and the Create a face option available. I tried it, selected on of skin templates, and the game crashed because of an error that has something to do with faces.dbf.
I guess that it means more editing?
Edit: Also tried with changing faceid, the same happened, only this time Wallace had a generic CAP face. Same crash again.

Check the last ID number in faces.dbf, you'll probably need to assign the next one in sequence to Wallace for it to work properly.
