is there any possible way to edit your players overall? to make them better in the dynasty mode

Anyways, might as well answer your question. Yes their is, that is through .dbf editing. Get a program like DBF Commander (see the downloads section under editing tools) and open players.dbf in your NBA Live. From their, you can find the player you would like to edit, make the changes. I'm sure someone can give you a little more detailed description, but that's the basic info you need.

Please note, however, that simply changing a player's overall rating through DBF editng (and none of his other ratings) will not result in a permanent change. Performing various Dynasty mode tasks such as training, trading players or entering Edit Player - even just to change a jersey number - will force the game to perform a recalculation of the player's overall rating to ensure it is still correct. If the individual ratings don't support the new overall rating, it will drop once the recalculation is performed.
Also note that simply increasing or decreasing a player's overall doesn't make him better or worse. If you have a player with low ratings, simply changing his overall to 99 won't make him a superstar; he'll still have the same low ratings so he'll still perform like a scrub. A lot of people like to focus on the overall ratings and whether they are "correct" or not, but the individual ratings are much, much more important in determining a player's performance. You should edit them instead.
The overall rating does come into play when offering trades to the CPU so you can cheat it if you raise the overall, only for it to drop back to normal after the trade goes through. Of course, if you raise your player's ratings you can increase the overall rating "naturally", which is what you should do if you're just looking to get a better performance out of your players.
If you want to do it the legit way though, make sure you have a good assistant coach and focus on training your young players.
