Help needed; I've ordered NBA Live 2008

Gentlemen,

I haven't been involved in the series since Live '05, but I'm going to have some extra time in the next few months (due to a break up) so I decided to get into Live again.

I remember from '05 that the game was very mediocre out of the box, but was great after applying updates, roster patches, and suggested slider settings.

So please help me out, if you would; tell me what I need to download, what sliders settings to use, what FAQs I should read (bearing in mind I haven't played the game in three years), etc. to have good performance (system setting in my sig) and good gameplay.

well, the only things i could suggest to you are the current nlsc roster..this includes maek's substitution fix..and ofcourse, kris' gameplay fix..

Thanks for the reply. I've been looking, and I got Albys (?) roster patch because it was updated 3/22, whereas the NLSC patch was updated 3/8. Is the NLSC roster still better because of settings?

Does anyone think there will be a playoff roster update?

Also, are you saying that kris' gameplay fix is included in the nlsc roster patch, or is it something else to get altogether?

I intend to release at least one more update to the NLSC roster for the 07/08 season, you'd have to ask Albys about his plans for his update. Kris' gameplay fix is not included in the NLSC update.

i'm sorry my previous post wasn't that clear..what i meant was you'll have to get kris' gameplay fix and the roster separately...
