Like some other people here, I made faces for FIFA and PES. So once I figured out about the shine, the *.dds, the alpha, here is Rafer Alston, my firs NBA Live series CF.

To those who do not know, just download/paste/move the files into your "(e.g. C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\)NBA LIVE 08\sgsm" directory.

Please leave some comments so I would know what do I have to improve.

Looks good for the first nba patch.. There is some things for fixing but overall -GOOD

I will update the headshape if I have time. If you want me to update the texture, please could someone post a (good) pic of Alston.

I would like to make players that I can't find CFs for and EA's suck e.g. Leandro Barbosa.
Also, I want to make "created" players that does not have a CF (yet) and is desperate for one like Mike Harris.

However, I cannot find pics...

By the way, I would try making jerseys if Alston is fully complete.

Sorry Kris, but there is no user under the name of "ryanp". I think you meant "Ryan", because of all the "Ryan"s in the member list, he is most likely to be the person you are talking about. However, I still can't find pictures...

So upcoming would be Mike Harris. The Scola face in Alby's roster is good enough, so I don't think I need to make another.

After Harris, you should try Carl Landry and a long hair version of Luis Scola.

King Jame's made a great Scola but with short hair. Check his thread.

Carl Landry... mm... I will think about it. You guys can request, but I'd rather do unmade players. It's just like FIFA and PES - 20+ Beckham faces, and I don't want to have 30+ Kobe or LeBron. Landry is made I think. It's in Alby's roster. His collection is good (or even the best).

Also, I don't want to be considered that I make Houston faces.

And yah, Jose Calderon came into my head, then into my unmade list.

If you want to try unmade players, here are some suggestions:
CJ Miles (UTA), Andre Owens (IND), Lance Allred (CLE), Blake Ahearn (MIA).
If you want to update an already made player:
Mike Bibby, Corey Brewer, Chris Andersen.

Haha.. I didn't intend to say you make houston faces, but I just thought you are a big Rockets fan as well as me

Landry is made, you are right. But have you seen his CFs in Albys' roster:?: From looking at it you can tell its Landry, but it doesn't look like him and no one has made a Carl Landry CFs as in Carl Landry. Do you get the idea I think its pretty safe to say that Landry is only made once and it is a great idea to actually make it look like Landry. His hair is now short by the way The picture in Ryan's thread is relatively old. Landry still got that mini afro.

And if you want to try any player's CFs, tell me. I will help you find photos and stuff. And tell me whether you want to do Landry or not, if so then I will collect good images for you.


Calderon I think is made. You have to check. But it doesn't hurt to try

just a suggestion, try not making cf's that are already done...

Also, please, PLEASE , put on his headband. His ears will be (very) weird, as I modeled them the way there are under the headband.
