How to make createdplayer mvp/rookie contender

I have created a createdplayer and averages 40+ pts per game but its not included in my MVP contender list and Rookie/Player of the month list in season mode. How do i fix this?

There's not much you can do. NBA Live 08 PC's Dynasty Mode is, in my opinion, a lost cause.
