problem when shooting

i have live 08, but i have some question.

1. is it different this year when shooting - because last year in live 07 you hold the ball then it goes in - i think it is different this year because i've been playing for months now and i cant make a single three pointer in a dynasty i start?
2. what is the best sliders when your way of shooting is you hold it until its on the most top then release?

1. The release point still matters. It's still all about timing as long as Shot Control is set to User.

2. You might want to increase the Poor Release Percentage slider so that the game will be more forgiving if you don't perfectly time your release.

No problem. Note that it's still better to time your shot properly but with that slider increased it will help out if you're a fraction too early or too late on the release.
