****PLAYERS NAMES DISAPPEAR****

DURING GAME PLAY IN FRANCHISE MODE ON A FEW OCCASIONS THE PLAYERS NAME/HIGHLIGHT DISAPPEARS. SO BASICALLY YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH PLAYER YOU HAVE CONTROL OF. WHEN YOU SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT PLAYER IT'S NOT HIGHLIGHTED OR THE PLAYERS NAME IS NOT THERE.
I HAVE TO RESTART THE SYSTEM TO GET IT BACK.
ANYONE HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE OR KNOW HOW TO FIX IT?
EVEN IF YOU GO TO OPTIONS AND CHANGE IT BACK IT DOESN'T WORK.

This is a known issue with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of NBA Live 08. Unfortunately, no official fix was released. If you can avoid making substitutions through the pause menu, you can usually avoid this issue as well though that's obviously not always convenient. Unfortunately the only way to resolve the issue once it occurs is to restart your system, as you've already discovered.
