Art patches can usually just be placed in the sgsm folder; by default, that's C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm.

aiact.viv updates belong here (by default): C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\ai\act

does the teams.dbf file go in sgsm?

no it goes to ur save folder
