Using updated rosters on Direct IP

Postby jayes87 on Fri Feb 15, 2008 9:24 am

Hi
I was wondering if it's possible to use the updated rosters on Direct IP games. Everytime I create a game it says all settings/rosters and etc will be reset to default, and I can't seem to find anything on the topic so if anyone could help that would be great.

Thanks

Try copying the files from the roster to the database folders (originaldb, workingdb, currentdb etc). I believe that method has worked in the past.

I believe both users to need to have those patches installed to avoid problems.

Ok will do, but as far as the roster thing. I only see OrigDB in the database folder. However, the roster updates all have multiple folders, such as workingdb currentdb and etc.

I can't guarantee it will work but overwrite the files in the originaldb folder. You might want to make a backup in case that starts causing problems, otherwise you can always copy the original files from the disc or do a fresh install.

Ok so I downloaded the new update that Andrew came up with and theres an uninjured folder and a NLSC folder. Should I copy the NLSC folder and replace the OrigDB folder in my NBA Live directory?

Yes, that's correct. Whichever roster you prefer, the Uninjured or Regular version.

Thanks, for anyone interested I figured out how to change the rosters. I had to replace the WorkingDB folder in My documents/Nba live 08/database folder with the files.
