Help with .big file

I downloaded the Reorder Roster Workaround patch and it is a .big file where should i put it.Please help.

Welcome to the Forum. 
You'll need to place the file in the sgsm folder. By default, that's located at C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm.

where should i put .FSH files for players

Put FSH files directly in the SGSM directory and the game will load them.
