NLSC Roster Update v1.01 Released...

A new version (v1.01) of the current roster update for NBA Live 08 has been released and is available to download here.

Key features of v1.01:
- 2007/2008 Season Rosters accurate as of 10/02/08
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Cyberfaces and portraits for missing players
- Jim Boyland added as Chicago Bulls coach
- East/West All-Stars Updated
- Rookie/Sophomore teams updated
- Team Italy Updated
- Maek's Fatigue Fix Implemented
- Destiny attributes updated
- Team playbooks updated

You're welcome. I'd suggest grabbing one of the simengine fixes for the best results.

Andrew, do you play with Kris's gameplay fix? And have you adjusted your roster so that it plays well with the gameplay fix?

I haven't adjusted the roster to work with any particular gamefix.

Now I have to fix all that.........

C'Mon man, like Andrew said in the release post, there's something like 400 players in the game so if 11 of them have wrong height... Just tell him and he'll fix them.

For the cyberfaces: I agree with Batista that it's sometimes annoying that some faces are overwritten. Can we somehow prevent the installer from installing the art to sgsm folder? Or could you add an option of not to install the art? You understand what I'm trying to say, Andrew?

+Can I use these updated rosters on a current dynasty mode that I've already started?

There's no need to be so abrasive. There's over 400 players in the rosters, sometimes I miss things like heights and weights. They're easily enough corrected when I'm alerted to them. If you have any other constructive feedback about the rosters, please let me know.

That's something I'll have to look at doing I guess. The reason I have the one installation file do everything is because it streamlines the process. I get enough questions about the art installation without making it a seperate process but I'll see what I can do.

You may seperate it to sgsm folder & roster save folder.
- Compress via winzip(winrar).
- Then release as two download links. (One for roster, another for sgsm).

I certainly realise I could do it that way. My point is, a lot of people currently have difficulties with an all-in-one installation let alone having to download two seperate files (leading to even more emails about faces missing) but I'll consider the possibilities.

I too wanted to use some of your sgsm but not all. This is what I did (and usually do when it is an automatic installation)
A little suggestion for Batista.

1 Rename the NBA Live 08 folder to smthing like xNBA Live 08.
2 Make a new empty folder, name it NBA Live 08 and in it place an empty sgsm folder
3 Run Andrews installation
4 Rename and remove the new folder that now contains Andrews stuff and take away the x on the real one.
5 So now you have Andrew's sgsm stuff that you can use as you please.
6 Not so much horror involved

You can do so by editing Fisher in Edit Player.
