running system problems

i have a sony vaio laptop with a 336mb ati graphic card. i installed nba live 08 and i tried to play it. when i call time out or i play in dynasty mode, the game crashes and exits. if anybody has some information about this problem and can give me an advice, please answer me.

that would be because your running an illegal copy of the game

Or alternatively, a legal copy of the game with a No CD patch. The only way to overcome that is either obtain a legal copy of the game or stop trying to use a No CD patch.
