~HELP~detail setting problem

my detail setting can't save and approach on dynasty mode
the game deault setting is 1024x768x32, but my computer can't afford
i try to change 800x600x32, but the game still running in 1024x768x32
Can anyone help me??

I don't know why you are experiencing this kind of problem, but the best solution is:
- First, exit the game.
- Delete "settings.dat" which is located in your "My Documents/NBA Live 08/settings" folder.
- Then, get into the game and try to adjust settings.
- Then go to "Load/Save" and save settings again.
If you have that problem with your dynasty settings, you can just put new-generated(the settings you have saved recently) "settings.dat" into your "My Documents/NBA Live 08/Saves/(Dynasty save name)".
Btw, i can even run the game with 640*480 resolution. So, i don't think there's a big problem and the best solution is above.

i had the same problem with wyman. i did exactly what you had instruct but when i loaded my saved game and finally saved settings again, my dynasty saved game turned into roster saved game. i didnt had what i wanted to have and worse i ended up loosing my dynasty saved game. please help.

I have no idea how that happened pencap. Check your dynasty folder(that turned into a roster) to see if it has the following files- franchise.dat, save.dat, settings.dat. If you don't have the franchise.dat file, your dynasty is as good as gone.
For anyone else wanting to know this, here is an easier way because deleting your settings will overwrite any settings you may have in your dynasty, such as sliders, etc.
-Before running the game, go to your dynasties save folder in My Documents\NBA Live 08\save\dynasty name
-Right click on the settings.dat file and choose copy
-Go to My Documents\NBA Live 08\settings and rename the settings.dat file to back it up.
-Paste the setting.dat file that we copied by pressing CTRL+V on your keyboard, you can also right click somewhere in the folder and choose paste.
-Start NBA Live and go to the detail settings page. Change the resolution to what you want for your dynasty and save the settings in the load/save menu.
-Alt+Tab out of the game.
-In the My Documents\NBA Live 08\settings folder copy the settings.dat file, which is the one we just changed and saved.
-Go back to your dynasty folder and paste the settings.dat file. Choose "Yes" to overwrite the existing file.
-ALT+TAB back into NBA Live 08 or click it's icon on the taskbar.
-Load your dynasty and you should be able to play with the new resolution.
