Changing Jersey models?

I have just made an alternate jersey for the lakers (can find it here:http://www.nbaliveforums.com/sutra862087.php#862087)
and it has the same coller\neck as the home away and alternate jersey. I dont want to replace them but when i put the VIV file in on another name say replacing lala49a.viv it adopts the round neck that the original jersey has even though im using on overwritten viv file of the away jersey, does anyone know how to change this?

to fix the neck you hlaf to know thee neck type # and the team jersey id # and then repelace the neck type # of the jersey you trying edit to the number you need. the colum you want is necktype and ifs spreadsheeet format in the teamgear file of the game. that's way your neck is wrong. its not viv controling it

ok thanks, how do u figure out team id numbers?

its by city name atl. is the first one, then Boston, etc, etc.

You can also double check Team IDs in teams.dbf.
