Players on sgsm

Hey,i have a question,about various players on the sgsm folder after install the NLSC Rosters 1.00,why appears players like Allan Houston for example,if he is retired or others like Tiago Splitter on TAU Cerámica right now.Can someone help me to recognize the name of the players and if is possible the team where actually playing,if they still do it?

Thanks frenchy,good job ,but why all those players are on sgsm folder if they not appears on the game?

They might appear because Andrew's using the same cyberface package from last year's game (maybe). I wonder if in the next release the retired players can be eliminated?

They don't appears it the game because they are not in players.dbf of your rosters... You need to import that players from rosters where they are into your current rosters! I think that will fix your problem! Try...

The main reason is that I basically just copied the sgsm folder from the NBA Live 07 update as well as the source code for the installation file (and modded it as necessary), so some players who aren't currently on an NBA roster have a face included in the NBA Live 08 update. Since some of those guys will possibly sign with teams if only for a short stint, I figured it might be useful to leave that art. If you want to create them yourself, it's also there for your convenience.

i've been on NBA Live since 1995 on sega megadrive . And for the 1st time i wanted to get it on my note book. I must admit i used to love it...but since the 08 release my feeling went big time, until i discovered your site. And i do enjoy it . After downloading some of your patches i've started enjoying NBA Live again. I got afew things i'd like to find oud and i hope someone will be able to help me...

1. What will be the best patches to download in order to get the best possible
game?

2. What do i need if i want the players in the Fiba teams to be able to appear in
the draft? Like Florent Pietrus, Fred Weis...ect

3. Is there Anyway to bring new teams into the dynasty? What i mean is that,
they are teams like the nationals one and the all star in the play now mode.
Is there anyway this teams, could be modified, jersey, team names, in order
to be able to had 1 or 2 more teams in the dynasty mode?
I know sounds crazy, but there's a lil'crazy in all of us
My Idea, was to start a dynasty with a new modified team (jersey & name)
in wich i'll include the best european (no nba player) and Fiba, and start a
dynasty from there. I love difficulties and challenge in sport

4. I'd love to have special customize jersey, or create a player in the game on
who i'll be able to put my picture on.

5. I'd love to learn to patch games, and i wanna know if anyone could tell me
what way to go and where to start from.

1. An updated roster is probably the best place to start. Beyond that, you might want to explore some of the unofficial gamefixes that have been posted in the Releases & Previews section and check out the graphics updates (faces, jerseys, courts etc) to enhance the visuals.

2. Do you mean a Fantasy Draft? If so, the easiest way would be to move them to the Free Agent pool through DBF editing. More info on that can be found here.

3. Dynasty Mode will only support 30 teams; no more, no less. However, through DBF editing you can add new teams and swap them with the regular teams, though it's probably easier to just overwrite the old teams if you're going to do that.

4. Both are possible with a little editing. You might want to check out the posted Tutorials. Alternatively, you can post a request in the Requests & Help section.

5. Check out some of the Tutorials and don't be afraid to ask for assistance in the Requests & Help section if you need some pointers on the finer details.
