Turned down by a stupid assistant coach today

I don't know how this happend but he had at least an a in all three abilities and he was worth over 900 k, and i gave him a little bit more money but he rejected it and said something like this, he was saying that i didn't value my assistants. Has anything like that ever happend to anyone else who tried to hire an assistant? Then he said that he counted all my email as spam. How can he reject me like that and i gave him more money than he wanted? This is cracy!

I've had that happen with players in the past. Did you change any other aspects of the deal you were offering, such as the length of the contract? Sometimes it's better to just offer staff and players exactly what they want rather than trying to sweeten the deal.

Yeah i did try to sweeten the deal, this wasn't in the first year though i think it was in year two or three. His grades were no less than a b- i forgot exactly what they were but i know that he had no c's.

The game's weird like that sometimes. As I said, both staff and players sometimes prefer it if you just give them what they want instead of being generous and offering them more money.
