From what I've seen there's a few players whose default cyberfaces don't use alphas, thus they don't appear correctly when lighting is enabled.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it...

Throw more money at EA.
I'd imagine it would have to do with recreating the model and cyberface for the rook.

How can you do the alphas?

I'm not an expert on face patching by any means but I believe
FSHLine will allow you to import or remove alphas. I'm pretty sure that's the tool patchers use to convert faces from 06 to 07 and vice versa.

Didn't the rookies in 06 have lines going down the back of their heads?

hmmm..you can put an alpha channel into a cyberface by exporting its texture..open it at photoshop(with a DDS plug-in), then apply alpha..save it as a dds file, import it using fshX..but you can just put a request in 08 patching...

a simpler way..

I had D. Cook wear a headband and it's not that annoying anymore.
