Can this be done?

Sun Nov 25, 2007 7:00 am

I came up with this idea today. I don't know if someone has already been asking or thinking about this, but here we go...

We've found a way to add shoes. Tons of shoes. But has anyone tried to add accessories? Such as bands and sleeves?
I know we add them as a part of skin files, but could it be possible to add different kinds of bands (for example a wristband with a NBA logo) to the edit player -section. Wouldn't it be kind of same thing like adding shoes?

A practical example could be the calf sleeves. We all know that the long sleeves are, for unidentified reasons, uneven (the left being shorter than the right I mean). Can we edit these regular accessories? Can we replace them with our own?

I think it would be really nice to have a larger variety of accessories, such as armsleeves with different lengths, or bands with player's number etc. It would definitely take some weight off of patchers like me :D

This said, is there someone who can answer to these questions? Someone who maybe has tried to do this before.

I haven't been able to successfully repack that file. The images are indexed bmp's and it can be exported with fshline using the -nfs option or using nfshtool itself. Once you repack the file, though, the game crashes. I tried this alot during 07, but it didn't work. The only way to add custom accessories right now is to add them to a tattoo file and assign it to a player, of course the player wear the same color accessories for every jersey.
