Direct Pass to PF results in a layup

Retarded. There's some sort of a half second delay where pressing direct pass will not bring up the direct pass icons. As a result, the dude with the ball does that ramming into the defender layup from half-court (or where-ever the hell you are). I think this happens only to the PF because when I pass to the SG (direct pass + shoot), the guy never shoots a jumper.

Add this to the list of bugs.

sometimes it also become obvious pass passing to the open man ignoring the button i pressed and thats really annoying too...

never experienced that before, i regularly past to my PF and it always goes to him

Yes, there is something new with the direct pass button. Tap it and the game will decide what teammate to pass the ball to, hold it for a short amount of time and the icons will show up.

I miss being able to quickly pass the ball to who I want to because of this, and I have had my ballcarrier try to perform a layup instead of passing the ball becuase I didn't hold the directpass button long enough.

Wow, obvious passing? Why doesn't the game just play itself for me then? When we press direct pass, it kinda implies that we want a specific guy to get it.

another thing that seems to have changed is sometimes not always, when a player not in movement receives a pass and u pull right stick down to just move with one pivot feet planted well the player will simply start dribbling...that never happenned in 07...
hope those 2 things can be fixed...

ow yeah.. good you mentioned that... its true. after receiving a pass.. without doing any movements, it will automatically dribble. not all the time though, so you can fake..

and sometimes u in the paint and just tap shot button for fake and it does a stupid fss shot...(that gets bloked)

yea i agree. it looks so nasty with their back leg going up. Who shoots like that? Also, i love seeing my SG open, press direct pass and shoot, and chuck a three from half court with my guy.

I think you can increase the height of a jumpshot. I would like this done to many of the goto moves since some of them get blocked easily.
