ncaa patch?

since the nba live '04, i've been buying the game and waiting for the ncaa patches to come out. i really enjoy them. i don't like the nba anymore, so i want to play ncaa on nba live pc and, since ea sports refuses to come out with ncaa football and basketball for us pc users, i buy these games and wait for you great modders to do your stuff and come out with ncaa patches. i bought nba live '05 pc and it looked like a ncaa patch was about 98% done - then dropped. i didn't see anything for '06 or '07 in the way of ncaa patches. on a fan voting poll i saw the other day, the majority of users liked the '05 best and thought '06 and '07 were the worst, so i thought i'd either wait and see if anyone was making a ncaa patch for '08 (and if users thought '08 was better than the '05 version) and/or if someone was going to finish making the ncaa mods for '05 pc.
even if the '05 ncaa mods weren't done, if the artwork, courts, unis, logos, etc was done, i could finish or add some rosters. does anyone know if i can download whatever is done for the '05 ncaa mod?

good job mcoll86. i really don't know what size for you to send. whatever will work in the game. as far as teams - the major conferences plus the teams ranked in the top 30 or 40 that are in the smaller conferences ( gonzaga, memphis, butler, xavier, etc ). i'm not that concerned about if the rosters or player ratings are up to date - i can always edit that part myself - it's just that i haven't found any site that has any downloads for ncaa art and rosters for nba live '05pc. if you have anything you can send me, e-mail it to rranger@roadrunner.com

i'll send them, and you can pick what you what you want. i dont keep up closely with rankings enough to know which to give you. we each have our favorites. what i have is the base jerseys, no numbers, no previews, and i haven't done the the gray underside, just the surface uniforms we see in the game. there are a couple guys working some thins stuff, but i dont what year version there working it for with my stuff as there start point. i'll send you my stuff and you can try going from there or you can check for post like this and see what's happening.

Ncaa Patch? not yet, there's just one for 06.

does anybody have the rosters that were completed for this ncaa mod for nba live '05pc? i don't care if they're not 100% accurate or complete. i'd just like to have what's done e-mailed to me at rranger@roadrunner.com

i've seen tons of slider settings on the main forum slider thread, but they are mostly based on playing against the computer. i play only cpu vs cpu so i was wondering which set of sliders you guys like that gives a realistic cpu vs cpu play on the college level instead of the pros

matt, i deleted your e-mail before i wanted to reply. i see all of the jersey file extensions are .png, but i don't see anywhere in the c:/documents/nbalive 2005 directory to place these files

does anyone have a roster set they can send me? even if they are last year's - i can update and edit them myself. i have the jersey art ( but don't know which directory file i need to install or copy the .png files to), but i still need the courts, logos, etc files if someone can send them to me

there coming. i've not had a chance to do any work this week with the production computer down until a new vid card is put in. that should be in the next two days, and once i'm sure everything in place and working, i'll be working on stuff at that point. as for the .png, there the top layer of uniforms, not the entire uniform, and there someone working on getting them put into a uniform fsh right now. i dont have the information or the person info on this person have help with you on this computer, its on the producttion computer, so if still need help there, give a couple days i can get it, and talk to him about it.

Im not going to lie to you guys, im kinda out of this project as of right now. I decided I wanted to get this game playable for me before I start adding major shit to it. I'll def work on this later if no one else has already but if you guys want to start organizing I'd be glad to help out if i can.

jao, i'm kinda thinking the same thing. i'd like to use what's playable so far even though it's not finished. that's why i had mentioned i would gladly have someone send me any of the artwork and rosters that are available now and i can always update them for myself later

i'd like to see at least the jersey's completed, but still haven't figured out how complete the jersey parts yet, not the numbers, the parts that be with the top part you two have in your hands as will mine. if i get that help of how to do that, i'm willing to finish the jersey's. something about gray layers, and smaller version of the top layer, i don't remember and what i need to know what and what i need and how get throws made.

anything new happening with this mod since it's been over 2 weeks since the last post? i'd still like to be able to download anything that's been done so far - going back to last january and february. i'd like to be able to put together a league and start playing ncaa basketball before, like the last 2 years, march is here and everybody quits working on the project. i know this sounds like i'm complaining or whining, and not appreciative of the hard work that goes into making these mods, but i really am very appreciative of the efforts. it's just that i've been waiting to play ncaa basketball for 2 years and really don't need to wait for the completed project - i'd be glad to download any portion of the this mod that would be workable to play during the peak months of the ncaa basketball season.
