How can u convert 07's Database to 08! Little Tutorial

08's Database almost same 07's. Only players.dbf is different!

Ea just add hot spots in players.dbf end of the table!

Then i find a way use 07's mods for 08 (TBL Live 07,NT live...)

Now i lets convert 07 to 08

First open 07 db with excel

Like this



Then open 08 db with excel

Like this



Now see the difference end of the table

Then select all on 07 to GF (Name to Chemhappy) line and Copy



Now open 08 then paste selected to 08

Thats it! it is done but we have little problem! the hot spots sucks

i dont know how to fix is someone knows please tell.

For the future, don't use MS Excel! Often the files become corrupt after editing it with Excel.
Get a programm like CDBF, or DB Commander or how they are all called.

I use open office or cdbf.I You probably have to edit the hotspots manually.

You could possibly create a little macro script to create hotspots based on FG, 3PT and Inside Scoring and the scoring style ratings, and then adjust them manually later on.

Just copy EA's hotspots from 08. They got their data directly from nba.com. You also just got rid of all the International teams by doing that.
