The latest NBA Live I own on the PC is 04 get 08 or 07?

I have an xbox but since 2k8 is only next gen I'm forced back to the live series. I do also own Live 2000 and Live 2003. Live 2000 is the best of the series in my opinion. But to play on-line I need 07 or 08. 08 doesnt sound very good at this point.

Live 07 is definetly inferior it seems. 08 is the game 07 should have been, so there's no sense of buying the broken gameplay of 07.

Now you can install a lot of patches that can make pretty the 07 Live.. if you can wait, buy Live 08 and wait the patches

or, better, buy an Xbox360 + 2k8.. LOL

Live 08 is not avaliable for Xbox.

Ok so wait a month or so and grab 08 when the patches have started rolling in....cause currently I'm playing 2004 with 07/08 rosters. If I could play that online I would just play that and call it a day. 2k8 spoiled me. Though Live 2000 is still top notch of all the Lives to-date, in my opinion. Thanks guys for the info...feel free to add anything else that comes to mind.

I'd wait another couple of weeks for 08, just to see if any other issues arise. The current issues aren't that bad and can be taken care of. Don't get 07.....just don't, 08 actually fixes some of the issues that we couldn't fix in 07.

Cool one last thing I'm using the 07/08 rosters but some players have a black face\head. Chris Paul for example how do I rectify that issue?

download a CF for that player and install it into the game

I suggest 07.......download many patches.

buy 2005.. no point in wasting 30-40 dollars on a game that doesnt even look half finished.
2005 will be like 5 bucks and its 10x the game that 07 and 08 are
