Problem with names dissapearing

I'm playing on xbox360 and 2 or 3 times now during a game my player names have all dissapeared. Even if I hit RB to direct pass I get nothing. Anyone seen this or know if it is a bug or a button combo that I'm hitting?

Once I restart the console i'm fine.

I've run into the same problem a couple of times now. I have no idea if it's something I've done or not but I cannot figure out how to get the names back. I need to know which player I'm controling to play. It's very frustrating.

I haven't encountered it yet with the finished version but I did notice it happen at times on the build I played back in June. Perhaps it's similar to the overtime bug a few years ago, which some people were fortunate enough to never (or rarely) encounter.

I've seen it at random times during games. Pretty much every time I sit down to play I'll see it. I'll reset the console and it doesnt seem to happen after that....so far.

As far as I remember its only happened at times that I've changed my line up, once I get back into the game I wont have the player indicators or direct pass icons.

It has happened to me towards the end of several games. I've yet to figure out if it's something I'm doing accidentally or what.

ive had the problem a few times... it defently happens when i change my line up, but i noticed it happens when i press the start button and go to the menu to change the line up during a cut scene.

It is annoying but i jus play thru it...jus memorise who and what position your players are playin... its difficult on defense tho!

I might know what the problem is.......I turn this feature on! on my xbox 360

I can't remember where in the options probably presentation or visuals....

Indicators: On,Off,Fade Away -- I chose fade away.......while playing

Simply the name appears when the ball is in his hand and they fades away....I like it it's in NHL 08 and I think in Fifa 08 as well.

This last time it did it to me when I went to menu to change my guard levels to tighten up on a few guys. When I got back into the game my player indicators were gone so I went back and set the guard levels back to auto and my player indicators came back!!

I didnt have a problem setting the guard levels just a few minutes later.

yeah in an online game my opponent paused and after the pause the indicators were gona nad remained gone untill i restarted the xbox the next day.
