Great videos. But I'm a little hesitant to be sold on Live '08. I know that EA is selling on the fact that you can break out of dribble animations, but did anyone notice that Kobe took more than 3 steps in the 2nd video on that fast break. Sure the gameplay has increased drastically over the course of the past year but I feel like situations such as that can really drag the the quality of play especially if it happens often. I've always been quiet about the quality of EA because when it boils down, I'm an average consumer. I'm not the ones doing the programming nor the ones hiring the programmer, so my grudge is useless albeit justified. I just feel that with all the hype EA has been talking about getting back to the basics, they should be trekking the waters carefully and take it down a notch.

My $0.02

The only way people will stop criticizing EA's next gen gameplay is when they players stop moving like robots!!! That's why the game looks bad, even when the game looks good visually. EA really has to fix that, cause no matter how good they think the gameplay is, that will always effect whether people will buy the game or not

It looks like robotic league contest, look at those moves!:),
EA doesnt want to listen anything., graphic is good but moves of players on the court are horrible, thats shows us they need to change some people in their production crew::). i mean whats the problem guys!?!?, its live 2008 and players still looks like robots on the floor! I would like that its not true but it is and game is almost out on the market.
Kobe ftw

Wowzers for graphics, it looks terrific. Also, it really seems like EA stepped up and actually put some real effort this year.My overall impression is positive(so far).Gameplay department is what interests me most, like no Yao Ming on fastbreak, no PG domination, awful rebounding from previous versions, better and realistic passing(especially in traffic), improved AI, stat engine in dynasty mode(which is more important this year, considering there will be no editing possible), stuff like that.

Players physics and moves looks good enough for me, but havent played the game yet, so i'll restrain myself from any further comments untill i actually do.

no one in the world move like how kobe did in that video. half spin move, sudden elevation from the same spot and tear drops the ball in. wth. great game play. (Y)
