Some GOOD News for PC Version.....I think!!!!

I was just over at ign.com and the release version for ps2 will be released October 2nd! that means they will have an extra month to make the pc version of nba live 08 even more better since it comes October 30th....what do you guys think???

Hell yeah, man!!! That might even give them enough time to go NextGen for the PC, dude!

I'm kidding... Actually, historically, the extra waiting time hasn't been for EA to add quality or "something extra" for the PC. The extra few weeks gives EA's lazy asses enough time to port the PS2 version because they've spent no time working on the PC version, because they don't give a damn about PC people. That's why the PC version is so buggy and shitty. Just my opinion. Take care and I love your optimism, Dirk.

we can hope they add in some better textures, maybe new player models, hell a PC friendly menu system?


Dont expect much though, probably just extra time to get the PC version optimized.

I am optimistic about it, but I think it will only be for more beta testing to eliminate anything similar with 07 happening as far as bugs, etc. EA is not actually developing the PS2/PC version themselves, but they are alongside HB studios this year.

I just heard that NHL 08 for PC was more of a roster update with some minor tweaks. It was also made by HB studios. I am no longer optimistic.

My guess is that the delayed release is neither good or bad news. It just means if you're a PC gamer, you'll be getting it later.
